Hey, I'm Napalmnik
European-based Warhammer fan and software developer.
I built List Engine because I wanted a better way to browse and follow the Warhammer 40K competitive scene. It started as something just for me, then I figured other people might find it useful too, so here it is.
By day I work as a fullstack developer. Frontend is where I spend most of my time but I am comfortable across the whole stack. I like writing code that actually works well, not just code that ships.
What I work with
Frontend
This site is built with Vue 3 and Nuxt, which is what I reach for most these days. I have also shipped production work in React and Angular, so I can pick up whatever the project needs. For UI I have used Vuetify, PrimeVue, Material UI and Tailwind CSS a lot.
I write TypeScript by default but plain JavaScript is fine too. I care about performance, making things responsive, and keeping interfaces simple enough that people do not have to think too hard.
Backend
Most of my backend work has been in Node.js with Express or NestJS. I also know my way around Python and have done some work with Solidity as well. Relational or document databases, writing queries, thinking about data models, that is all familiar ground for me.
Fullstack & Leadership
I like owning a feature all the way from the database up to the UI. That is just how I work best. I also have experience leading dev teams: keeping things moving, doing code reviews, helping people get unstuck. Good communication matters a lot in that role and I have learned that the hard way a few times.
